Endurance is not one of our favorite words. “Stop wasting your time and your life,” we’re told. “Stop settling.” But is that what we’re doing when we decide to endure?
There is no amount of spiritual fervor that will exempt you from the pain of human life. Of course, you can try, but eventually, you will have to accept the fact that you will never be spiritual enough to not be sad. That’s not the point anyway.
